Every change in your inventory is a stock movement. Understanding the three main types helps you keep accurate records and spot issues early.
Incoming stock (Inleverans)
When products arrive from a supplier or return from a customer, that is incoming stock. Recording it keeps your quantities accurate and gives you a record of what you have received and when.
Outgoing stock (Utleverans)
When products leave your warehouse, whether shipped to a customer or moved to another location, that is outgoing stock. Tracking this prevents overselling and shows you which products move fastest.
Adjustments (Justering)
Sometimes the physical count does not match your records. Damage, loss, or counting errors happen. An adjustment corrects the number without pretending it was a real shipment. Being honest about adjustments keeps your data trustworthy.
Why it matters
Each movement tells a story. Over time, your movement history reveals patterns: which products are popular, which sit on shelves, and when you tend to run low. That insight turns raw records into better decisions.
Keep it simple
You do not need a complex system. Record the product, the type of movement, the quantity, and optionally a note. That is enough to maintain a clear, useful history.
NEAinventory records all three movement types with optional notes, so you always know what happened and why. Get started.
